My name is Brian Kelly, from Derry, N.Ireland. io65ib

I got my foundation licence back in 2013 and had been active then with aYaesu FT857D usually on 20m and PSK31 under MI6LLS.

I was off the air for about 10 years and decided early this year (2024) to dip my toes back into this brilliant hobby, passing intermediate in Oct 24 and am now operating under callsign 2I0YOO.

Currently have an FT710 for SSB, FT8 and PSK31 using a DX Commander Rapide, multiband and a FT857D for mobile.

I also operate a Yaesu FTM300, FTM6000 for VHF/UHF, WiresX and APRS and have just setup a Digipeater/iGate using a raspberry Pi running Direwolf.

In the past I had many adventurous hobbies, including, Skydiving, Paragliding, Kitesurfing, Surfing, Scuba Diving as well as less adventurous including Beekeeping :-).

I am currently a keen Cyclist (Road, Gravel and MTB).
