I'm Peter (Pete) and live in Gosport with my wife Rosie and 2 dogs (Jack Russel)
I've been licence since 1996 with the old Novice licence call sign 2E1FCU (now lapsed)
In 1997 I passed for the full licence with this call
As with many hams, Life got in the way family Kids Divorce, and sold my radios to start rebuilding life again.
Moving forward 20 years
My interest in radio started to show again reactivated my call and found DMR Radio it was Radio,
But I missed HF crackles and pops so during Covid I was looking at HF Radios
IC-7300 duly purchased half wave vertical and I was back on the air
things had changed so much in the 20 years for the better I might add
licence changes meaning a B class licence can now us HF.
Bringing new blood to the HF Radio
and then Echolink DMR SYSTEM FUSION WIRESX
December I clicked buy it now on a FT991A
to use for portable use as yet not had the chance
waiting for the weather to warm up
