Hi all thanks for the look up i passed my foundation licence on 19th of april 2024.

Iv kind of accidentally found my way to ham radio i really enjoyed studying for my test such a interesting topic.

Im currently using a QYT KT-8900d mobile out in the car and a baofeng uv-5rh at home till my new radio arrives i spend some time fishing so will have the uv-5rh with me then im currently looking at echolink and also dmr as well.

I have the Baofeng GT-5R UV-5RH and DM1701 and a Quansheng UV-k5 and a Abbree AR2520 in the post little something new to play with keeping the budget a bit tight as its easy to run off buying something really nice.

Since getting in to all this been trying to learn as much as possible self teaching most of it lol and learning to solder from youtube and friends.
