Passed my Foundation Exam in September 2024 and bought my first radio Yaesu FT840 enjoyed it so much I bought a very nice Kenwood TS2000. My radio shack is at the end of my garden the old garden shed and following a make over I moved in to one corner. I run a 71ft long wire back to the house at about 6mt above the ground and at times a lot of background noise, enjoying 2mts as new to me and love 40mts
