Hello All.

So what to say, I'm usually very rubbish at writing bio's. I started out on 11m way back when you needed a licence from Ofcom and left the hobby until 2021. After talking on the North East Net (11m) to various people and a couple of locals to me, I decided its time to see what else is out there. Passed my exam early December and so I'm still finding my feet.



I have an unusual interest in building antennas, not only to see how they work but also to see what sort of gain they can offer. Currently I'm running a Xiegu G90 with an EFHW cut for 40m which is currently sloped out of the loft window down the garden. This hobby has been one heck of rabbit hole and there's still loads more to go! You'll pretty much find me 40m most of the time unless I feel a little more adventurous and wonder around the bands!

I also like to get out and play portable when time permits.
