145 ALIVE - April 2023 Dorset
Yesterday lots of fellow radio operators from Scotland, Wales, and England went to high ground to make contact with each other in an event called "145 Alive", the 145 denotes the frequency used: 145 MHz (or 2 metres in old money).
The best contact of the day (for me) was a chap on Exmoor talking to a chap in Jersey, a good 100+ miles away off the coast of France, and they were both running low power.
